Your creative brain wasn't built for this
You can visualize a perfect room in minutes. So why does managing the project feel impossible?
Your brain works in colors and textures, not formulas
You think in mood boards, fabric swatches, and spatial relationships. But your “project management” happens in Excel cells, email threads, and sticky notes. Every day you switch between being a creative visionary and a data-entry clerk. It's exhausting — and it's killing your creativity.
Specific Pains:
- Switching between design tools and spreadsheets breaks your flow
- Budget calculations interrupt creative decisions
- Administrative tasks eat up design time

This isn't what you signed up for when you became a designer
You went to design school to create beautiful spaces that transform how people live and work. You started your studio to build something meaningful. But somewhere along the way, you became a spreadsheet manager who designs on the side.
Your clients deserve better. Your creativity deserves better. You deserve better.
What if your tools worked like your creative brain?
Mortar thinks visually, connects everything, and keeps the big picture clear — just like you do. Finally, software that enhances your creativity instead of killing it.
See budgets the way you see design — visually
Forget spreadsheet cells and formulas. See budgets as visual progress bars, color-coded alerts, and intuitive dashboards. Your clients watch totals update in real time as you make selections together. No more “let me calculate this and get back to you.” No more surprise sticker shock.
Key Features:
- Visual budget tracking with progress indicators
- Real-time cost updates as items are selected
- Color-coded warnings before budget limits
- Client-friendly displays they actually understand

It's not just about better tools — it's about getting back to why you became a designer
Mortar doesn't just organize your projects; it organizes your creative process. When the business side runs smoothly, your creativity flows freely. When clients understand and trust your process, they give you creative freedom.
When your tools work together, you work at your best.

This is what happens when software understands designers
Every feature was built for visual thinkers who value beautiful experiences. Every workflow was designed for people who care about craft and client relationships. Every detail was considered by people who know that how something works is just as important as what it does.
