Select items, pick the supplier, send a quote request from inside Mortar. The reply threads straight back to the request — and the quoted price and lead time flow into the item when you accept them. Your supplier book keeps every contact in one place.
Cost data stays locked down
Quotes are trade pricing — so the Quote Inbox is visible to owners and admins only. Team members never see costs or margins anywhere in Mortar: not in lists, not in history, not in exported PDFs.
The budget updates itself
An accepted quote isn't a note — it's the item's cost. Room totals, margins and at-risk flags recalculate the moment you accept, and the client still only ever sees their price.
