Verification
How the link to your website works
Verify your email, then publish. The link back to your own website is there from day one. It becomes a real, followed link that passes search value to your site automatically when your email address is on the same domain as your website (free email addresses like Gmail don’t qualify); otherwise it does once we’ve reviewed your profile. Until then it’s still a working link, just marked unverified to search engines.
